This renovation was the very first project we added to our books in late 2017. A poorly built cottage with many challenges, but we succeeded to let this rose bloom again. 3 bed, 3 bath, altered kitchen, lounge & family braai room, deck area within courtyard, single garage.

02 house LAKE
This was a complete “gutting” project, and surprise! This original cottage was built with fieldstone! The cottage footprint never changed, but modernised and a beautiful SP added. 2 bed, 2 bath, open plan lounge/dining/kitchen, covered terrace & patio, staff bed and bath, laundry & extended double garage.

Operating in the golf estates comes with a lot of “red tape”, but that was of no concern seeing that project admin is one of our many strong points. A lot of value was added to the existing house by enclosing a below GF level courtyard and converting it into a large family/TV room. A modern water feature with a waterfall wall & steel structured pergola was added to the front entrance area, to mention one of the many changes.

Perfectly positioned on an east facing plot, this 80+ year old residence got the facelift worthy of the location. This project was also a complete “gut” and even the 300m2+ slate roof, including structure, was replaced. Very modern oak finishes on the cupboards and matching engineered flooring makes it one of a kind. 06 house CARSTENS
Joining two buildings is always a surveying and waterproofing challenge. Ensuring the floor levels meet up and that there is enough expansion between the buildings, but at the same time ensuring the building is water tight, is only to name a few. This project comprised of joining the main house to an outbuilding with an RC roof slab with skylights to allow in natural lighting to the sun room below. Hardwood decking finished off the walking surface to the roof slab and a beautiful veranda was created to sit down and relax and peruse the nearby mountains. Below a sunroom was created with FG stack-up doors and cemcrete flooring, creating a space to naturally unwind.

07 house DOLPHIN
Built in the 1940’s, this old lady got a total make-over with a touch of modern, yet keeping the sophisticated-look-cottage feel. Completely gutted, this renovation was completed in just12 weeks! That is normally the result when contractor and project become one. 3 bed, 2 bath, open plan dining/lounge area, kitchen, laundry and full flatlet.
